The setup guide
From a link
to your line of sight.
Each app has its own website. You add that app’s link to your glasses through the Meta AI app on your phone.
Enable Web Apps once
In the Meta AI app, open Settings → App Info. Tap App version five times, then confirm Enable to turn on Developer Mode.
Keep your Meta AI app and glasses software up to date.
Get the app’s public link
Each app page has a QR code and its public app link. Scan the QR with your paired phone to open Meta AI and add the app. If scanning does not open Meta AI, copy the app link for the manual steps below.
https://your-app.onrender.comAdd it in the Meta AI app
On your paired phone, go to App Settings → App Connections → Web Apps → Add a Web App. Give the app a name, paste its public link, and tap Connect.
If web apps are not available, follow Meta’s current instructions to enable Developer Mode first.
Open it on your glasses
Find the added app at the bottom of your glasses’ app grid. Open it and follow its on-screen controls. Keep your phone and glasses connected for the initial load.
Come back for updates
Apps stay hosted on their own Render websites. To load an update, open the app while online, let it finish loading, then fully close and reopen it.
You usually don’t need to remove the app or clear its data. That can also remove locally saved progress.
A little extra help
A few useful things to know.
Do I download a file?
You add glasses apps by web address through Meta AI. Agent Hub also offers a starter ZIP for the server you run on your own computer; that is a separate setup step.
Why does an app still look the same after an update?
An open session may keep using the old files. Let it load while online, then close and reopen it. Avoid clearing data as a first step.
Can I share my app link?
Share the plain public link from the app page. Some apps generate personal sync links or codes that provide access to a saved game; keep those private.
Where do these instructions come from?
See Meta’s current Web Apps setup guide for the latest requirements. These steps were checked on September 19, 2026; phone menu labels may change. The QR format follows Meta’s documented app setup links.
